September employee of the month, Florina Ahmeti!

I am Florina Ahmeti, I’m a student who through attending the Techstitution training I got the opportunity to get an internship at ODK as a software developer. Since that time more than three months have passed and I can say that all these three months passed so fast here, but at the same time, I got to learn a lot thanks to the well-qualified staff.

At the start I had a bit of trouble fitting in, I didn’t have quite that much experience in programming and I wasn’t so sure that I can handle different tasks that were delegated to me. Thankfully even though I had my doubts I was able to learn about everything and with the help of my colleagues, I got to finish every task, even the ones that at the beginning I thought of being impossible.

Besides working on software development I was also introduced with the work as Quality Assurance and delegated different tasks on this field.

Now, I started working as an official employee of this organization where I’ll be dealing with testing different platforms that the technical team produces and also help with their developments whenever is needed. I worked really hard for these three months so I could do a great job and not be left behind. As people say hard work really does pay off.

After three months of working in ODK, I got chosen as the employee of the month which was totally unexpected for me and made me feel really good and appreciated at the same time. Besides being chosen as the employee of the I’m really lucky to have had the opportunity to work in such an environment, with so many good and hard working people.
